George Ciuca Selected as MWC Performer of the Week
Lake Forest College men’s tennis player George Ciuca was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday after helping lead his team to a pair of 7-0 victories to open league play on Saturday. Ciuca, a senior, did not drop a game in the Foresters’ win over Monmouth College in the morning. He and #2 doubles partner Bernardo Aguiar prevailed 6-0 and that was also the score in both sets of Ciuca’s triumph atop the singles lineup.
