Flaherty Named A-10 Under Armour Softball Player of the Week
WASHINGTON - University of Dayton softball junior Deirdre Flaherty has been named the Atlantic 10 Under Armour Softball Player of the Week. George Mason sophomore Abbey Lane was named Pitcher of the Week, while George Mason freshman Bri Lencz earned Rookie of the Week honors. The league announced the awards on Tuesday for games played from March 30 to April 5. Flaherty shined offensively for the Flyers last week, slashing .538/.600/.923 over four games.
