Elon Baseball Falls to Gardner-Webb in 14-11 Thriller
BOILING SPRINGS 鈥� The Elon baseball team (13-19, 5-10 CAA) slugged three home runs Tuesday afternoon, but fell short at Gardner-Webb (16-17, 5-7 Big South) 14-11. Jared Hall had another standout game at the plate, finishing a triple shy of the cycle. Brian DuRoff stayed hot at the plate with another home run and three RBIs. Henry Wolfe added the first home run of his career on Tuesday. HOW IT HAPPENED Gardner-Webb jumped out in front early with three runs in the bottom of the first.
