Day Earns Defensive Player of the Week After Shutdown Performance
Senior goaltender Jace Riley Day has been named Centennial Conference defensive player of the week after a lockdown performance in the Mules’ 12-8 win at No. 17 Washington College this weekend. Day made 19 saves while allowing only eight goals, the most by a Muhlenberg goalie in a Centennial Conference win since 2009. He made 11 of his saves in the second half, when the Mules were outshot by a 28-18 margin.
