Cora Grace Sparger Named C2C Pitcher of the Week for Fourth Straight Week
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Christopher Newport University freshman pitcher Cora Grace Sparger has had quite a month for the Captains. Sparger, from Salem, Va., was named the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference’s Pitcher of the Week on Monday for the fourth straight week. Sparger saw action in three games this past week for the Captains, posting a complete game victory at home over the University of Lynchburg on Saturday.
