Comeback attempt falls short at Transylvania
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Centre baseball team dug a hole in the middle innings of their intrastate rivalry matchup at Transylvania, rallying late in the game before falling by a score of 8-5. GAME HIGHLIGHTS – The game was scoreless through the first two innings as both teams used their bullpens for the duration. In the third, the Pioneers got on the board first, scoring a run on a double followed by an error.
