Baumhoer, Melo Named WWU Student-Athlete of the Month
FULTON, Mo.- Taylor Baumhoer and Duarte Melo were named William Woods Athletics Student-Athletes of the Month for March 2026. Both athletes put up amazing numbers throughout the month, capped off by at least one Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Week Award. Baumhoer, a sophomore hurler for coach Tracy Gastineau 's softball program, competed to a 5-1 record on the month tallying 44 k's in 49 innings pitched.
