Baseball: Anthony Carlo and Ryan McLaughlin Earn SUNYAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Cortland freshman outfielder Anthony Carlo (North Bellmore/St. Anthony’s) and junior pitcher Ryan McLaughlin (Warwick/Warwick Valley) have been selected as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Baseball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the week ending April 5. Both players were honored by the conference for the second time this season. Carlo earns Athlete of the Week honors after batting .571 (8-for-14) with three doubles, seven runs scored and seven RBI in a 4-0 week for the Red Dragons.
