Amiyah Smith, DeSoto County softball Smith is having a standout freshman season, and that got even better this past week at Lemon Bay. Smith went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI triple that proved to be the game-deciding run in a 7-6 extra-innings win. Smith, who is batting .406 on the season with 11 runs, 8 RBI and 5 stolen bases, leads the Bulldogs in batting average, hits and triples.
