Alvarez, Ezumba Tabbed CC Athletes of the Week
LANCASTER, PA 鈥� Johns Hopkins graduate student Eleni Alvarez and senior Erika Ezumba have been named the Centennial Conference Track and Field Athletes of the Week following strong performances at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational. The honor marks the first conference recognition of the season for both Alvarez and Ezumba. Alvarez delivered the Blue Jays’ lone event win of the weekend. She paced a field made up entirely of Division I competition in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, clocking a personal-best time of 11:01.73.
