Add Another MIAC Weekly Award To Folkestad鈥檚 Resume
MOORHEAD, Minn. (4/7/26)—In the least surprising decision made by the conference this year, All-American Cooper Folkestad (Sr. Wadena, Minn./Wadena-Deer Creek HS) was named the MIAC Field Athlete of the Week. Folkestad walked away with the award by posting the top marks in Division III in both the discus and shot put at the Embry-Riddle Classic held in Daytona Beach, Fla. The award is the sixth outdoor conference weekly honor that Folkestad has won in his career and eighth overall for both indoor and outdoor seasons.
