8-Run First Leads Mammoths to 13-4 win over Lasell
AMHERST, Mass. — It was over before it started. No, not really of course, but it was close enough to that as the Amherst College baseball team scored eight runs in the bottom of the first inning Tuesday en route to an 13-4 victory over Lasell University in front of a crowd of 119 at Memorial Field. The win moved the Mammoths to 15-5 on the season while the Lasers slipped to 11-12.
