Women鈥檚 tennis drops NESCAC match at Amherst
CLINTON, N.Y. 鈥� The Amherst College Mammoths defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 7-0 in a NESCAC match at the Amherst Tennis Courts on Saturday, April 4. Season Update Nationally ranked No. 48 Hamilton (8-4, 2-3 NESCAC) was coming off a 7-0 victory against Trinity College on March 29. The 16th-ranked Mammoths (7-3, 4-1) extended their win streak to four matches. How It Happened Amherst won all three doubles matches and picked up the team doubles point. The Continentals took the Mammoths to a third set at No. 4 singles and No. 6 singles, but Amherst ultimately prevailed in those matches.…
