Women’s tennis’ Battermann, Sultanova collect full slate of ODAC weekly honors
FOREST, Va. – For the second time this season, No. 73 Averett University women’s tennis swept the conference sport’s awards. Senior Elisa Battermann and junior Dilara Sultanova were named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference’s Doubles Team of the Week, and Sultanova was also named the Singles Player of the Week, as announced by the conference offices on Monday. 9-1 as a team in 2025-26; Battermann, hailing from Zeist, the Netherlands, and Sultanova, hailing from Izmir, Turkey, defeated teams from Division-II Johnson C.
