Two School Records Fall as Outdoor Track Teams Compete at Emory and Orono
ATLANTA, Ga. – A pair of long-standing school records fell as the Bowdoin outdoor track & field teams split to compete at the Emory Invitational in Georgia and the University of Maine Spring Opener in Orono last weekend. Charlie Aucoin set a new school record in the men’s discus while Noah Rockey broke a school mark in the men’s 400 meters, both at Emory as the Polar Bears posted several outstanding performances. Men’s Weekend Highlights Aucoin posted a distance of 50.99 meters in winning the discus at Emory, shattering a decades-old standard of 47.99 set by Scott Dyer in 1995.…
