MOUNT PLEASANT – Mercedes Allen of Jacksonville won first place in the 100 meter hurdles at the Mount Pleasant Varsity meet Thursday. Danniela Guerrero came in second place in the 3,200 Meter Run and ran third in the 1,600 meter run. In the varsity boys division, student-athletes from Jacksonville came in fourth place in three events. Other schools participating in the competition included: Mt. Pleasant, Longview, Sulphur Springs, Paris, North Lamar, Greenville and Texas High. Whitehouse competed in pole vault only.
