TOWSON, Md. – Towson University football assistant coach Victor Santa Cruz has been elevated to special teams coordinator, announced by head coach Pete Shinnick . Santa Cruz takes over the role after the departure of Alex Krutsch. He joined the staff this year after being the head coach of Azusa Pacific from 2006-19 and JSerra Catholic High the past three seasons. He was a coordinator under Shinnick at Azusa Pacific from 2001-05 before taking over the program on Shinnick's departure for UNC Pembroke.
