Shrikeshav Murugesan Selected as UAA Men鈥檚 Tennis Player of the Week
CHICAGO — University of Chicago sophomore Shrikeshav Murugesan was named the University Athletic Association Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the association office on Monday afternoon. The top-ranked singles player in the Central Region put on a show this weekend in a battle of the two top teams in the Midwest. In doubles play, the Edison, New Jersey native teamed up with Gopal Koduri to earn a 7-6 win at #2 doubles to seal the doubles point and an early 1-0 lead for the Maroons.
