COCOA BEACH, Flor. – The Webster University softball team continued spring break play with a decision against the University of Rutgers-Newark. The Gorloks rallied with a four-run sixth inning that beat the Scarlet Raiders by the score of 9-6. WU’s Kailey Rushman pitched a complete game while Addison Penn and Vanessa Saenz recorded a career-high three hits each. Webster opened this neutral site decision with the bats as Brie Hale reached base on a one-out error by the Scarlet Raiders.
