Ruiz Leads Regals to Fifth Place at SCIAC No. 2
BEAUMONT, Calif. 鈥� Cal Lutheran women’s golf closed out its final official competition before the postseason this past weekend, finishing fifth at +98 at SCIAC No. 2, hosted by Redlands at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. The Regals showed clear improvement across the two-day event, trimming 18 strokes off their team score from round one to round two. After opening with a +58, Cal Lu responded with a much sharper +40 on day two to cap the tournament on a high note.
