Rippeon, Handwerger, Garase Take Year-End MEC Swimming Awards
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Frostburg State Women's Swimming team took three end-of-year honors, as the MEC announced its major award winners for the 2025-26 season. Sophomore Genna Rippeon was named the Co-Swimmer of the Year, earning all-conference recognition in the 1000 Freestyle, 400 IM, 400 Medley Relay, 500 Freestyle, 800 Freestyle Relay, 1650 Freestyle, and the 400 Freestyle Relay. She was also named the Women's Swimmer of the Meet at the GMAC/MEC Championships.
