TUCSON, Ariz. – The Colorado State University Pueblo women’s golf team positioned itself firmly in contention after the opening round of the West Texas A&M Desert Invite, carding an 11-over 299 to sit in third place at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Arizona. Leading the charge for the ThunderWolves was Olivia Heard, who delivered a composed, even-par 72 to pace the Pack on day one.
