No. 5/8 Men鈥檚 Lacrosse鈥檚 Almquist, Burns Repeat NEWMAC Weekly Honors
MARLBOROUGH, Mass.鈥� After a pair of lopsided victories, No. 5/8 Babson College sophomore Andrew Almquist (Wakefield, Mass.) and graduate student Beau Burns (Washington, D.C.) were named New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player and Face-Off Specialist of the Week, respectively, on Monday. The weekly awards are nothing new for the Babson standouts as Almquist received the weekly defensive honor for the second straight week and fourth time this season and Burns was recognized for the fourth consecutive week and fifth time overall.
