Nate Hanson Named MIAA Men鈥檚 Lacrosse Specialist of the Week for the Fifth Time
Calvin University senior Nate Hanson was named MIAA Specialist of the Week for men's lacrosse on Monday. Hanson (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North) won the honor for his performance in the faceoff X in a pair of Calvin wins last week at Trine University (8-7) and against Alma College (23-2). In the two wins, Hanson won 68.75 percent on faceoffs with 13 ground balls to help the Knights open league play with a 2-0 record, including winning a faceoff late in the one-goal win over Trine after the Knights had scored the go-ahead goal.
