Mount Union鈥檚 Ella Nejad Named OAC Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Ed Hall, Jr. By: Casey Kropka WESTERVILLE, Ohio鈥擲enior Ella Nejad (Rocky River) was named the OAC women’s defensive player of the week on Monday afternoon (4/6). Nejad battled one of the top draw specialists in the country in Rhodes and picked up 10 draw controls in the game compared to Rhodes 12. Nejad also picked up five goals this past week with five ground balls and five caused turnovers as well. This is the first time this season and in Nejad’s career earning the award.
