Morgan Bethard Named MIAA Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Calvin University senior Morgan Bethard was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse on Monday. Bethard (DeWitt, Mich./DeWitt) won the honor after scoring 10 goals with two assists as the Knights split their first two games of MIAA play. After scoring five goals with one assist in the Knights' 17-15 defeat to Hope College in the MIAA opener, Bethard scored five goals with one assist to help the Knights win 19-11 at Trine University on Saturday, April 4, to move to 7-5 on the season and 1-1 in league play.
