Matesic & Tarabokia Earn NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week Awards
Pitman, NJ- Announced on Monday afternoon by the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) office, Montclair State University baseball freshman CHRIS MATESIC and softball freshman JORDAN TARABOKIA earned NJAC Rookie Pitchers of the Week for their respective sports during the week of March 30 to April 5. Matesic was electric in his lone appearance for Montclair this week. In his start against #7 Rowan, he went 7.1 innings and allowed just two runs on seven hits and struck out a season-high eight batters to secure the win for the Red Hawks and improve his record to 6-0 on the season.
