Lyon Comes Up Short in Conference Doubleheader at Westminster
Fulton, MO – Lyon College Scots softball dropped both games of a doubleheader against the Westminster College Blue Jays on Monday afternoon. The Scots fell 6-4 in game one before dropping game two 10-2. With today’s results Scots are now 4-18 on the season and 1-3 in conference play. Lyon showed flashes offensively across both contests, collecting 12 hits on the day, but timely hitting from Westminster proved to be the difference. Skylar Foreman was the lead hitter for the Scots recording two hits and driving in three RBI, her big hit being a two run homer in game 2.…
