Leopards Sit in First at West Chester Invitational
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - After one day at the Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester, Lafayette leads the 13-team field. The Leopards shot a 15-over-par 295 and claim a three-stroke lead over second-place Millersville with one round left. Freshmen Chris Vahey and Viktor Kofod-Olsen ended day one of the invitational tied for third. Both golfers shot a two-over-par 72. Vahey collected three birdies on the afternoon, while Kofod-Olsen followed up his 10th-place finish at the Columbia Spring Invitational with six birdies at the par-70 Penn Oaks Golf Club.
