Kingsmen Push No. 29 Caltech to the Brink
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Facing No. 29 Caltech just 24 hours after falling to the nation’s top team, Cal Lutheran men’s tennis delivered its most competitive performance of the 2026 SCIAC stretch on Saturday morning, narrowly falling 4-3. The Kingsmen (3-8, 0-3 SCIAC) came within striking distance of an upset but were edged in doubles, as Caltech claimed two of the three matches to take the early 1-0 lead. The pairing of Carlo Drewelow and Raphael Simon earned a key 6-4 win at No. 2, but tight losses at No. 1 and No. 3 ultimately gave the Beavers the advantage.…
