Jordan Closs Named MWC Pitcher Player of the Week
GRINNELL, Iowa 鈥� Illinois College’s Jordan Closs has been named the Midwest Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week, the league announced today. A senior from Niantic, Ill., Closs helped fuel IC to an opening 4-0 record in Midwest Conference play over the weekend. In her two starts in the circle, she tossed 12 innings, allowing no runs, three hits, and recording five strikeouts while opponents hit .088.
