Jacob Smith Named Defensive Player of the Week
BOSTON 鈥� The University at Albany men's lacrosse student-athlete Jacob Smith has been named the America East Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning. Smith had an absolutely dominating day against Binghamton on Saturday. The LSM from Milford, Ohio, collected a team-high five caused turnovers, also scooping up three ground balls. Smith added an assist on a goal from Silas Richmond and scored a pole goal himself to cap the performance. The UAlbany defense as a whole kept the Bearcats to just five goals, a season low for the Great Danes, with Smith as a major contributor....
