Hobart picked as A-R-C Men鈥檚 Track Events Athlete of the Week
PELLA 鈥� Men’s golfer Carter Yurgae (sophomore, Des Moines Dowling Catholic HS) was selected as the American Rivers Conference Male Athlete of the Week to headline four weekly honorees for Central College. Yurgae was joined by baseball position player Max Steinlage (senior, Cedar Falls), men’s tennis player Bodi Kortz (freshman, Wormeveer, St. Michael College) and men’s track athlete Kale Hobart (junior, Mason City). At the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational over the weekend, Yurgae shared the title in the 255-golfer field. His two-day total of 69-71鈥�140 led the Dutch team to a 13th place finish out of 41 teams.
