Golfers finish second at Upper Iowa Spring Invite
WATERLOO, Iowa — The No. 40 ranked St. Catherine University golf team opened the spring season at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite in Waterloo, Iowa finishing second out of ten teams. The first round was canceled on Friday due to inclement weather as St. Kate’s finished +39 led by Arivia DeBoer and Caylin Cantwell tied for third individually. DeBoer and Cantwell carded 79 (+7) just two strokes behind the tournament leader. Raquel Ahrens was next from St. Catherine with a round of 82 (+10), good for 12th place.
