Gale and Bellomo Earn LEC Nods After 2-1 Week
PROVIDENCE, R.I. 鈥� Bella Gale and Lanza Bellomo were named Little East Conference Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 5. Gale was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Bellomo collected Rookie of the Week honors. Gale and Bellomo helped the Spartans to a 2-1 record during a very busy week, highlighted by a 21-9 conference win over Rhode Island College on Saturday and a 19-11 nonconference victory over Elms College on Thursday.
