Five Named MIAA Athletes of the Week
Five Hope College standouts have claimed MIAA Athlete of the Week accolades: Sofia Fisher and Jaidyn Klimp in women’s outdoor track and field, Luke Bellino in men’s outdoor track and field, Jack Balmforth in men’s lacrosse, and Ireland Brown in women’s lacrosse. Balmforth, of Livonia, Mich. (Detroit Catholic Central), is the MIAA Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time this season and the third time in his career. The senior goalie helped the Flying Dutchmen to a 2鈥�0 week with a 14鈥�7 win at Transylvania and a 14鈥�1 victory over Kalamazoo College by recording 22 saves.…
