Cobb Named NEWMAC Men鈥檚 Track Athlete of the Week
MARLBOROUGH, Mass. 鈥� No. 22 MIT men’s track and field senior Jake Cobb has been named the NEWMAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending 4/5/26. The honor is the first of Cobb’s career. Cobb, a native of West Deptford, N.J. ran 9:09.15 in the 3000m Steeplechase at Princeton’s Sam Howell Invitational, finishing seventh overall and first among Division III runners at the cross-divisional meet. Cobb’s time is the fourth-fastest steeplechase in Division III this season and the fastest in the East Region following this weekend’s competition.
