Cary Collects Back-To-Back E8 Weekly Honors
ROCHESTER, NY – Allie Cary (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) of the Utica University women’s outdoor track and field team has been named this week’s Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Week, for the second consecutive week, as announced by the league on Monday. Cary opened a dominant weekend at the Red Dragon Open with standout performances in the hammer and discus. She placed fourth in the hammer (47.57m), a mark that landed her third on the program’s all-time leaderboard, before winning the discus with a 44.30m throw, taking first place by 6.35m, breaking the program record, and ranking ninth nationally in NCAA…
