PITMAN, N.J. – Freshman Matt Caruso (North Haledon, N.J./Passaic County Technical) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Baseball Rookie of the Week April 6. He posted a .450 batting average, .500 on-base percentage and .700 slugging percentage with nine hits, two doubles, a home run, eight RBI and seven runs scored during a 3-2 week for the Pioneers.
