NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Lamar University picked up an early doubles victory and got a strong performance in singles from Savannah Bijlsma but it wasn't enough to slow down Stephen F. Austin, falling to the Ladyjacks, 6-1, Monday afternoon at the Schlief Tennis Complex. The Cardinals (9-9/2-6 SLC) found some early momentum at the No. 1 doubles position from the team of Asta Miettinen and Luana Paiva defeating SFA's Felicia Back and Sonja Rooth, 6-3.
