Baseball Edged 9-8 in Tight Battle at USI
LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥� Bellarmine baseball dropped a 9-8 decision to Southern Indiana on Monday afternoon in a back-and-forth contest at the USI Baseball Field. The Knights jumped out early, plating five runs over the first two innings. AJ Swader delivered a two-RBI single in the first, and Nick Gnardellis highlighted the second inning with a three-run home run to give Bellarmine a 5-2 advantage. Bellarmine continued to apply pressure in the third, as Eli Watson ripped a two-run double to extend the lead to 7-2.
