SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos softball shortstop Jillian Albayati was recognized by the San Diego Hall of Champions as one of the 2026 March Stars of the Month. Albayati led the Cougars to a 14-2 record in March by hitting .608 (31-for-51) with eight doubles, four home runs, 20 RBIs and 12 runs. The senior from Anaheim also tallied 10 multi-hit games and six multi-RBIs games while beginning her current 16-game win streak.
