Zimmerman, Smith lead Eagles to 7th at Pacesetter Invitational
TERRE HAUTE, Ind.— Junior Tyler Zimmerman and sophomore Andrew Smith notched second-place finishes Saturday to lead University of Southern Indiana Men’s Track & Field to a seventh-place finish at the Pacesetter Sports Invitational. Zimmerman was second in the 1,500 meters with a personal-best time of three minutes, 51.12 seconds, while Smith raced to a second-place showing in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:13.59. Zimmerman’s time ranks second in the OVC this season. As a team, the Screaming Eagles saw eight different runners score for them throughout the two-day meet.
