Women鈥檚 track and field shines at Amherst Spring Fling
AMHERST, Mass. — The Bates women’s track and field team competed against a host of regional opponents on Saturday at the Amherst Spring Fling, a non-scoring meet. The Bobcats took on the likes of host Amherst, Brandeis, Bridgewater State, Middlebury, Mount Holyoke, Plattsburgh State, RPI, Tufts, and Wesleyan. Meet Highlights Junior Anushka Chavda (Nottingham, N.H.) won her section and placed seventh overall in the 100-meter dash in 12.40 seconds, good for second on the Bates top 10 all-time performance list.
