Vikings Drop Second Game of Doubleheader to Grinnell
Grinnell, Iowa– Lawrence University softball jumped out to an early lead but couldn’t hold off Grinnell, falling 9-3 in the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader. The Vikings struck first in the opening inning, taking a 2-0 lead behind aggressive baserunning and situational hitting. Gillian Guerriero came around to score after swiping second, and Isabella Alfaro added an RBI to give Lawrence early momentum.
