Record Book Still Rewritten at Weather-Shortened Electric City Invitational
ANDERSON, S.C. – The Electric City Invitational was cut short due to inclement weather on Saturday, but the Lander track & field teams turned in a strong showing across two days with a wave of record-breaking performances. In distance events, multiple Bearcats rewrote the record book. Amara Hille set a new school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:49, while Jon Cummings matched the feat on the men’s side with a record-setting 10:18.
