No. 25 Gamecocks Fall to No. 7 Vols in Series Finale
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 25 South Carolina softball team (23-17, 3-9) dropped its series finale at No. 7 Tennessee (32-6, 9-6) Saturday night (Apr. 4) 4-2. Jamie Mackay led Carolina at the plate with a 2-for-3 night and an RBI. The Volunteers jumped out early with three runs in the bottom of the second before a solo home run in the third.
