IOWA CITY, IA. – The University of Minnesota baseball team closed out their three game road weekend against the University of Iowa this afternoon, falling short of a ninth inning comeback to drop the series finale 5-4 to the Hawkeyes at Duane Banks Stadium. Marcus Kruzan started and was credited with the loss on the mound for Minnesota. Tyler Hemmesch was a bright spot out of the bullpen, tossing 2.1 innings while striking out seven.
