Monarchs Walk-Off Tornados in Opener, Take Two on Saturday
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A thrilling game one of Saturday’s USA South Conference doubleheader went Methodist’s way as the Brevard College softball team (11-17, 3-7 USA South) fell in walk-off fashion to the Monarchs (8-20, 4-4 USAS), 5-4 in game one. Methodist used that momentum to claim a run-rule victory, 11-3, in six innings in the second contest to sweep the DH.
