Men鈥檚 Track & Field, Women鈥檚 Track & Field: Eagles Wrap Up Competition in the Bay
By: Billi Derleth, Sports Information Director SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--- The Biola track & field teams closed out competition at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and Stanford Invitational. Mike Fanelli Track Classic (Day 2) Biola's distance runners returned to action in the 10,000 meters and middle-distance events. Karis Brown led the women in the 10K, placing 20th (38:46.28), while Sara Johnson followed in 26th (39:26.32). On the men's side, Zachary Wallace paced the Eagles with a 61st-place finish (33:45.17). Bethany Mapes led Biola's women in the 800m run (43rd, 2:13.38), followed by Hailey Wurzbach (58th, 2:14.79) and Elizabeth Kurtz (89th, 2:17.24)....
